Cieran Thomas, the Head Chef at Holm House Hotel, Penarth, is raffling off both a Culinary Masterclass and Dinner for Four cooked and served in your own home, to raise money for The Wallich.
Cieran will personally visit the winners home to hold the masterclass, which will be designed to match the palates of the lucky winners. This is the perfect opportunity to learn the tricks of the trade, whilst Cieran takes you through everything you need to know to make incredible restaurant standard food in your own home! And what’s more this masterclass is not just for you, but for you and a group of friends!
Alongside this he is also offering the chance to win dinner for four, cooked and prepared in your own home. He will also discuss and create the menu with the winner, do the shopping beforehand, provide the full-on restaurant experience – and he may even do the washing up afterwards!
Cieran has previously worked at the famed Beard to Tail, alongside James Sommerin, done stages for the 3 and 2 Michelin Star Chefs Pierre Koffmann and Helen Darroze, and was part of the Culinary Management team at the 2012 Olympics.
The raffle forms part of a charity business challenge, Clash of the Corporates, whereby teams have been given a seed investment of £50 to invest and reinvest to make as much money for the charity as possible within a 50 day period.
Cieran said “Holm House Hotel are very pleased to be supporting The Wallich in the Clash of the Corporates challenge. We hope our guests will realise that others are not fortunate enough to have food in ready supply and will aid our charity efforts.”
Raffle tickets can be purchased in person or by phone from Holm House Hotel, Marine Parade, Penarth and are priced at just £2 per ticket. Tickets are on sale until Thursday 29th October, when the winning ticket will be drawn.
