There’s still lots to do to improve the rhetoric around people experiencing homelessness.

Amy has worked in third sector communications, fundraising and public affairs for more than 15 years.

Starting out on the front-line as a volunteer, she is passionate about social justice and delivering successful campaigns that make a difference to people’s lives.

Amy now leads a team of professionals in digital communications, internal communications, media relations, graphic design, research and public affairs.

She has led projects which have won a Chartered Institute of Marketing Award, both Silver and Gold at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) PRide Awards, UK Third Sector Awards and a successful crowdfunder which raised £78,000 in six weeks.

Amy has previously worked for Citizens Advice and Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA).

I am passionate about challenging discriminating language and practices by sharing the stories and experiences of the people we support to bring about real and lasting change.
