The Gwent BOOST project is a five-year National Lottery funded project.
The project works in partnership with service providers throughout Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire, Newport and Torfaen.
The project will deliver new initiatives to people at risk of homelessness, currently experiencing homelessness or people with lived experience of homelessness ensuring that people are enabled with the tools and skills they need to move on with their lives, leaving homelessness behind for good.
The project builds upon what is already working in Gwent.
It also works in partnership to deliver five key activities:
Tackling inequality and discrimination in the private rented sector
The Champions Network exists to build a platform for best practice in the Private Rented Sector in Wales.
We are recruiting Volunteer Tenant and Landlord Champions who will work together to develop joint initiatives around priority themes and key issues.
This work will then be taken forward through events, social media campaigns, advocacy, and other awareness-raising activity.
