Christmas appeal
The Wallich Christmas appeal 2026:
A gift and a Christmas dinner for people experiencing homelessness in Wales
Many people are going without this Christmas – without food, without warmth, without community.
At The Wallich, we want to ensure that isn’t a reality for the people we support.
Where will the money go?
A hot Christmas dinner for more than 540 people in Wales
With help from our donors, we work hard to ensure residents and staff in each of our homelessness hostels can come together to cook and share a Christmas dinner.
Living in temporary accommodation, many people we support often don’t have family or friends to spend Christmas with – so our hostels become a community.
Help us provide a decent Christmas meal to everyone who lives with us on Christmas Day.
A Christmas gift for every single person we support
Regardless of whether someone celebrates Christmas, people experiencing homelessness deserve something special to get through the winter months.
We want to give every person we support a gift voucher for £10.
A small gesture which will bring a smile to someone’s face.
Support The Wallich homeless Christmas appeal
Donate
- £8 could help provide a Christmas meal and festive treats for one person.
- £32 could help bring people together for a shared community Christmas meal.
- £100 could help provide a voucher for 10 people experiencing homelessness this Christmas.
The Wallich will support an estimated 4,000 people in Wales over the winter period.
With the cost of living remaining a challenge, The Wallich is working tirelessly to ensure people on the streets and people in temporary accommodation have the best Christmas they can.
The Wallich is certified by the Fundraising Regulator.
Donating items
During the winter months, we receive many kind offers of donated items, and we’re always grateful for the support.
Before you start collecting new or pre-loved items, please get in touch with our Fundraising Team or your local Wallich team. Our needs can change quickly, and they can let you know which donations would be most useful at that time.
