The Wallich Christmas appeal 2025 has now ended.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who supported us this winter. Your kindness, time and energy have made a real difference.
This winter:
- More than 2,000 people received a Christmas gift
- 2,593 people were supported by frontline teams between October – January.
Without the generosity shown this year, many more people would face winter without vital help and connection.
The Wallich Christmas appeal 2025:
A gift and a Christmas dinner for people experiencing homelessness in Wales
Many people are going without this Christmas – without food, without warmth, without community.
At The Wallich, we want to ensure that isn’t a reality for the people we support.
Where will the money go?
A hot Christmas dinner for more than 400 people in Wales
In each of our homelessness hostels, the residents and staff cook a Christmas dinner together.
Living in temporary accommodation, many people we support often don’t have family or friends to spend Christmas with – so our hostels become a community.
Help us provide a decent Christmas meal to everyone who lives with us on Christmas Day.
A Christmas gift for every single person we support
Regardless of whether someone celebrates Christmas, people experiencing homelessness deserve something special to get through the winter months.
We want to give every person we support a gift that costs around £10.
A small gesture which will bring a smile to someone’s face.

The Wallich will support an estimated 4,000 people in Wales over the winter period.
With the cost of living remaining to be a challenge, The Wallich working tirelessly to ensure people on the streets and people in temporary accommodation have the best Christmas they can.

At winter, we get lots of generous offers to donate second-hand items.
Please speak to our Fundraising Team or a local team if you have an idea BEFORE starting a collection of anything old OR new – you never know what they already have.
