We work with local authorities, landlords, and other agencies to support people in finding suitable affordable accommodation as well as help them to gain the skills needed to sustain a tenancy so that they live safer, happier and more independent lives.
We recognise that different groups of people have different needs and we create support plans specific to the requirements of the individual.
GIFT Families Service is a floating support project for families in the Denbighshire area who are homeless or have been put at risk of becoming homeless.
Support is usually provided for up to 12 months and can encompass a range of issues, with the aim of helping families to find or maintain their tenancy.
Our GIFT High Needs project offers intensive support to people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
The service aims to enable people to obtain and maintain a tenancy.
It assists people with particularly high-level support needs, who may not be able to access other areas of support to maintain accommodation.
Support is offered to people living in Denbighshire, usually for up to 12 months, regardless of age and whether or not they have dependent children.
Our GIFT Young People’s Service offers support to young people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, with the intention of enabling people to obtain and maintain a tenancy.
Support is offered to 16-25 year-olds who are living in Denbighshire and have no dependent children.
It is expected that the length of support will be less than 12 months.
We appreciate that young people have different needs to other groups who need support and we work to provide suitable solutions for the individual.
The GIFT Over 25s Service offers tailored housing-related support to people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, with the intention of enabling people to obtain and maintain a tenancy.
Support is offered to those over the age of 25 who are living in Denbighshire and have no dependent children.
It is expected that the length of support will be less than 12 months.
