Cardiff based running group, CDF Runners, has adopted The Wallich as their first ever charity partner.
Through a six-month partnership, CDF Runners will fundraise alongside the races they have planned, and raise awareness of rough sleeping in Cardiff.
Stewart Harding, from CDF Runners, said: “CDF Runners are happy to have chosen The Wallich as its first charity partner.
“As a club based in the city centre, we’ve been unable to miss the recent shocking rise in rough sleeping on our streets, and felt compelled to try to help however we could.”
The dynamic group welcomes runners of any ability, that are over the age of 18. Their members meet every week for a run in the great outdoors.
All runners are supported by pacers and runners, from those looking to win races to those lacing up their shoes for the first time.
Among a long list of sporty fundraising opportunities, The Wallich has a number of free charity places for the ABP Newport Wales Marathon and 10K taking place in spring 2018.
Whatever the running challenge, participants can help prevent homelessness in Wales by running for The Wallich and training with the CDF Runners.
