This report details a research project that involved interviewing clients and staff from The Wallich – 29 people in total – to identify good practice in abstinence based (‘dry’) projects.
Plenty of good examples of good practice were reported by clients and staff. They include: responding positively to relapse; working together to develop individual routines; communicating with other services; group work; and promoting opportunities for training and education.
