01 Jan 2019

An analysis of the numbers gathered by our South Wales-based Rough Sleepers Intervention Teams between November 2017 and October 2018, which shows increasing numbers of people living street based lifestyles in Cardiff, Newport, Bridgend and Swansea over the year.

People living a ‘Street Based Lifestyle’ (SBL) are people who spend most of their time on the streets. This includes those sleeping rough, individuals who are spending time in emergency or temporary accommodation, or are otherwise unsuitably housed.
