‘Wet’ houses have been successful in other parts of Wales. This research investigated the street drinking community in Newport, to assess whether a similar approach would work there.
By conducting interviews with street drinkers and members of staff from a range of service providers, the report finds that there is a strong case for wet accommodation in Newport.
