Gwent Helping End Homelessness

An innovative project aiming to help end homelessness in Gwent

The Gwent Helping End Homelessness project is a five-year National Lottery funded project.

The project works in partnership with service providers throughout Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire, Newport and Torfaen.

The project will deliver new initiatives to people at risk of homelessness, currently experiencing homelessness or people with lived experience of homelessness ensuring that people are enabled with the tools and skills they need to move on with their lives, leaving homelessness behind for good.

The project builds upon what is already working in Gwent.

It also works in partnership to deliver five key activities:

• Targeted peer mentor programme
• A Social Enterprise
• A Champions Network for Landlords and tenants
• Gwent wide clinical psychology support
• Ongoing project design and co-Production
