The Wallich CEO

The people we support are the centre of our universe.

Following a lengthy career, with particular expertise in the substance misuse field, Lindsay now applies her relevant experience to helping to tackle homelessness.

Lindsay started her career as a volunteer after experiencing homelessness. Her career has led her to this point: an experienced Chief Executive with a professional doctorate in Applied Psychology.

At The Wallich, Lindsay is responsible for overseeing our organisational strategy. She is the tactical link between the governance role of the board and operational service delivery.

She oversees the development and delivery of The Wallich’s business plan, making sure that the people we support are at the heart of everything we do and that the culture of the organisation is everything we want it to be.

Lindsay serves on a number of charitable boards, including WCVA and Tai Pawb, and works hard to support the wider third sector.

She attends and chairs a number of special interest groups and panels providing advice to the Welsh Government. This includes the Workforce Development Subgroup, as part of delivering the Ending Homelessness Action Plan.

Lindsay was a key member of the Homelessness Action Group alongside industry peers such as Shelter, Crisis and Llamau.

This isn’t what I do for a living, it’s my reason for being on the planet.
