Three local business directors are getting set to go head-to-head in the kitchen in a bid to raise money for The Wallich.

‘Dinner At Holm’ is an exclusive invite only event which will see three of Cardiff’s business leaders cook and wait on 70 VIP guests. There will be a drinks reception, followed by a three course meal cooked by the novice chefs, under the watchful eye and expert guidance of Holm House Hotels Head Chef.

John Lloyd Jones, finance expert, Jade Tambini, Marketing Director Yolk Recruitment and Vice Chair of the Wales Board of CIM, and Steve Sulley, Managing Director Stills Branding and President of the South Wales Chamber of Commerce, will be swapping their business suits for chefs whites as they bid to win over diners with their culinary and presentation skills.

The pressures of the kitchen will be there for all to see via a live feed streamed into the restaurant allowing guests to view the chefs cooking up a storm, as they battle it out in the kitchen to prepare starters, main courses and deserts.

Diners will be treated to the three-course gourmet meal, before being asked to pay what they thought the evening was worth and then awarding scores to their favorite course, as one ‘chef’ is declared winner and takes home the crown!

Hosted by Ex-Wales and Lions rugby legend, Dafydd James and 2013 BBC’s Apprentice star, businessman and philanthropist, Alex Mills, the evening will also include a range of exciting auction lots including a family ticket for a Royal London One-Day Cup Match at the SWALEC Stadium and a Four Ball at The Vale Resort.
