By supporting The Wallich Winter Raffle, you are helping to alleviate hardships people across Wales face such as; rising bills, high rent and mortgage payments, extortionate food prices and low wages.
The cost-of-living crisis is having a direct impact on households in Wales and putting many more people at risk of homelessness.
Whilst positive strides have been made to help end homelessness in Wales and across the UK, homelessness is still on the rise.
For just £2, you could win:
One book of tickets (£10) could pay for an emergency winter fuel top up to help people experiencing cold in their homes.
Buying or selling four books of tickets (£40) could provide two weeks’ worth of basic food shopping ensuring that individuals and families don’t have to choose between eating or heating this winter.
The raffle closes on 17 January 2025.
Buy tickets by heading to The Wallich website
The Wallich helps nearly 8,000 people every year, having a direct impact on people like Mark. He said:
“I was like a shadow, and thinking there was nothing else but that life, was a trauma for a long time until The Wallich came along and there was the light.”
Proceeds from the raffle will support people with items and funds that they need with the help of The Wallich.
The Wallich is also looking for people who want to become community sellers.
So, if you’ve got the gift of the gab, you’re heading to any festive events or know a lot of people, spread the word.
