Providing secure, supported accommodation to people who have experienced difficulties in their past with drugs or alcohol.
It is a requirement that residents will have been abstinent for at least six weeks from illicit drug use or alcohol use.
They will also have undergone recent detoxification or a rehabilitation programme and be continuing with a further treatment programme.
Staff work with the residents to help them maintain their abstinence and to move on to appropriate accommodation.
The Wallich believes that homeless and vulnerable people are individuals with varied and different support needs.
It is proven that their successful recovery can be benefited by living in a Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE).
We want to provide innovative and trauma-informed services, like Croes Ffin in Cardiff, and match people as best we can to support which suits them.
