Wrexham Doorstop is a medium supported accommodation and floating support service for people who live in Wrexham

Wrexham Doorstop aims to equip people with the skills and support they need to move forward with their lives, make positive connections in their communities, and sustain independent living.

Who is the service for?

Wrexham Doorstop service is for those aged 18 and over with generic, substance use needs or individuals with an offending background who are currently experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless.

This includes the following people:

The service is based on a person-centered approach to encourage service users to achieve positive outcomes such as new skills and confidence to live more independently.

The service is delivered by way of supported accommodation or ‘floating support,’ i.e., in their own homes, across all tenures.

Support is tailored to the individual, ensuring that each client’s needs are taken into consideration.
