Dinas Fechan Hostel

Dinas Fechan is a 15 bedroom hostel in Swansea providing shelter and support to single homeless people

The hostel provides accommodation and support to people with a variety of support needs including mental health issues, learning difficulties, offending behaviour or substance misuse.

All residents meet regularly with their support worker.

Support may include:

• Personal development work
• Access to appropriate services (drug / alcohol support, mental health)
• Advice on seeking permanent accommodation

Each resident has their own living space and shared communal living rooms.

The hostel includes laundry facilities, bathrooms and showers.

The Wallich believes that homeless and vulnerable people are individuals with varied and different support needs.

It is proven that their successful recovery can be benefitted by living in a Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE).

We want to provide innovative and trauma-informed services, like Dinas Fechan in Swansea, and match people as best we can can to support which suits them
