Newport Rough Sleepers Intervention Team provides an outreach service and drop-in centre for street homeless people

Newport RSIT team

The team delivers humanitarian aid, support and advice to people that are sleeping rough or are vulnerably housed within Newport.

We also help to meet current needs by offering a wide range of advice and by facilitating access to the most appropriate, relevant and often specialist services.

Support may include:

The drop-in centre provides a safe environment off the street to facilitate our support work.

Here, we offer access to a telephone and computer and help to complete forms, applications and referrals to our partners in relation to their current needs.

The Newport RSIT currently operates:

Monday to Friday: 7.00am-10.30am
Breakfast run: 7.00am-9.00am; Drop-in: 9.30am-10.30am
