Torfaen Criminal Offender Service

The Torfaen Criminal Offender Service team operates across Torfaen, Monmouthshire and Blaenau Gwent

Torfaen Criminal Offender Service supports prison leavers prior to, during and post release to ensure they have a seamless transition from prison to resettlement back into the community. 

We work with various prisons across South Wales and England, including 

• HMP Cardiff 
• HMP / YOI Parc (Bridgend) 
• HMP Usk 
• HMP / YOI Eastwood Park 

The team will work with clients in prison so that housing and support needs can be identified and planned for.  

The Torfaen Criminal Offender Service works in partnership with the local authority and other agreed partners, including the Council’s Housing Solutions team. 

The team provides a proactive and solutions focused approach to preventing homelessness ensuring that individuals are accessing the necessary support to meet their needs.
