Help people experiencing homelessness across Wales

Your gift can help break the cycle of homelessness

The Wallich supports around 7,000 people experiencing or facing the fear and uncertainty of homelessness in Wales every year.

We believe that tackling homelessness is more than a roof and a bed – it’s feeling safe, feeling part of a community and feeling positive about the future.

Your donations can help create opportunities that give people a sense of purpose and remind them they aren’t alone.

Why donate?

Many of the people we support have experienced isolation, poor mental health, stigma and the relentless pressure of the cost‑of‑living crisis.

After the trauma of homelessness, what can make the biggest difference is connection.

Rebuilding confidence, finding community and feeling that you belong and are believed in.

The projects that truly change lives are often those that bring people together and restore a sense of purpose.

Like the Choir with No Name in Cardiff, which celebrates its 5th birthday this year.

It’s part of our commitment to provide creative, community‑building opportunities for the people we support.

Every week, people from all walks of life come together to sing and share a hot meal.

They build friendships in a welcoming, non‑judgemental space where they feel safe and valued.

Choir members also perform at community events, helping to challenge perceptions of homelessness while gaining confidence, pride and a sense of achievement.

Around 30 people now sing with us each week.

Courtney is one of those people:

“Before I joined the choir, I lacked a lot of confidence. I now come away from practice buzzing and I feel so proud of us all. My strength is coming back, and I look forward to choir each week.”

The choir is just one example of how supporters like you help The Wallich transform lives.

Your donation will help people rediscover belonging and the confidence to rebuild their lives.

Thank you for helping us tackle homelessness together.
