Young people live in self-contained flats, with 24-hour support from staff, where they can develop the skills they will need to live independently.
The project enables and empowers homeless young people to meet their personal and professional aspirations through activities that improve skills, build confidence, develop independence and enable inclusion and contribution to the wider community.
Staff work with young people to develop self-esteem and confidence so that they feel able to cope with the challenges of living independently.
There is also a specialist team based at Clos Sant Paul dedicated to supporting young people who have particularly complex support needs.
The Wallich believes that homeless and vulnerable people are individuals with varied and different support needs.
It is proven that their successful recovery can be benefitted by living in a Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE).
We want to provide innovative and trauma-informed services, like Clos Sant Paul, and match people as best we can can to support which suits them.
