For single homeless people who need low level support, or for individuals ready to move-on from projects where they have received a higher level of support and wish to increase their independence.
We support residents to increase their control, understanding and involvement around the issues they have identified as needing assistance with, with a view to seeking and gaining suitable and sustainable independent accommodation.
Our staff supports residents with things such as:
We also work closely with Ceredigion County Council’s Housing Department to help residents complete actions on the housing plans given by the housing officers.
There are six bedrooms with residents having access to communal areas and shared facilities.
The length of stay varies, dependent upon each resident’s support needs and the availability of suitable move-on accommodation.
The Wallich believes that homeless and vulnerable people are individuals with varied and different support needs.
It is proven that their successful recovery can be benefitted by living in a Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE).
We want to provide innovative and trauma-informed services, like 13 Corporation Street, and match people as best we can can to support which suits them.
