Support available to families

We provide personalised support and guidance on issues that may affect families being able to keep their housing. This includes help with:

We also encourage community involvement and we help people to explore opportunities in education, volunteering, wellbeing and personal development.

How it works

We help families to develop practical skills and resilience, with the aim of reducing support as confidence grows.

Families get a mix of support tailored to their needs:

Support staff will also be on site at some of the county’s family centres, meaning people can access a complete range of services at the same time.

We will work with people to develop support plans that set out clear goals and responsibilities, and we encourage families to take charge of actions.

Our range of services allows families to access practical housing support and opportunities to build their resilience. This reduces the risk of homelessness and supports long-term independence.
