We’re incredibly proud to share that our Bridgend Young People’s Project has won Outstanding Charity at the Child of Wales Awards.
For more than 10 years, our young people’s services in Bridgend have supported hundreds of young people at critical turning points in their lives, providing immediate safety and long-term pathways out of homelessness.
This award recognises the dedication of our staff, who never give up on the young people they support. Progress isn’t always straightforward. Young people may leave, return, struggle or disengage, but support is always there. Sometimes change happens in small steps, over months or even years, but every step forward matters.
The project’s success shows that with the right support at the right time, even the most challenging beginnings can lead to brighter futures. By helping young people feel safer, more confident and more positive about what’s ahead, we’re supporting them to reach their full potential.
