Croes Ffin Barry provides secure, supported accommodation for people who have experienced difficulties in their past with drugs or alcohol

Arts mentoring - Homeless Accommodation and Projects in Wales

It is a requirement that residents will have been abstinent for at least six weeks from illicit drug use or alcohol use before entering Croes Ffin.

They will also have undergone recent detoxification or a rehabilitation programme and should be continuing with a further treatment programme to remain abstinent from substances.

Staff work with the residents to help them maintain their abstinence which will prepare them to move on to appropriate accommodation and start a new life.

The Wallich believes that homeless and vulnerable people are individuals with varied and different support needs.

It is proven that their successful recovery can be benefitted by living in a Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE).

We want to provide innovative and trauma-informed services, like Croes Ffin in Barry, and match people as best we can to support which suits them.
