Tom Hall (He/Him)

Before working at The Wallich, I never would have expected to meet such a varied and wonderful group of people as those that we support.

Tom began his career at The Wallich as a project worker in Ceredigion.

He has since gained varied experience within The Wallich, as part of our volunteering team, Community Housing team and, from 2014, within Human Resources departments.

Tom’s professional accreditations include a Masters degree in Human Resource Management and is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

In Tom’s current role as Director of People and Talent, he is responsible for:

• Implementing the People and Talent strategy
• Incorporating all aspects of the employee experience from pre-recruitment to post-employment

Tom has overarching responsibility for:

• Employee relations
• Health and wellbeing
• Recruitment
• Talent development
• Performance
• External volunteers

Due to a diverse journey with The Wallich, Tom has seen first-hand the variety of excellent services we deliver, the commitment and fantastic work undertaken on a day-to-day basis by our colleagues across all services and departments in Wales.

It is a pleasure to work with every person that comes through our doors; although it’s desperately disappointing that there is a need for a service such as ours.
