Wrexham Floating Support Service

Wrexham Floating Support Service provides support for people to keep their accommodation.

This service provides support for people living in their own homes (whether owner-occupiers or renters) across Wrexham.

The service enables people to have the skills they need to keep their accommodation and reduce their risk of experiencing homelessness. We do this by empowering people to take control of their finances, understand their obligations as householders, and improve their life skills.

The support given will:

• Reduce homelessness and evictions
• Reduce debt
• Encourage people to find opportunities for employment and training
• Increase community cohesion
• Decrease anti-social behaviour
• Reduce social isolation
• Support people to develop life skills which enable them to live more independently

Who is eligible?

We provide support for people living in private rented accommodation, local authority or housing association properties, and owner occupiers.

Anyone who needs support to prevent them becoming at risk of homelessness or to achieve a more stable housing circumstance is eligible.
