Bridgend Tenancy Crisis Service

The Bridgend Tenancy Crisis Service is a housing-related project that operates across the Bridgend borough including Maesteg, Bridgend, Porthcawl, Pencoed, Pyle and Cornelly, Llynfi, Garw and Ogmore valleys.

This service specifically provides housing-related support for people between the ages of 18 and 25 at risk of homelessness.

We can work with people to either remain in their rented homes. We also support people residing in temporary accommodation, for example being housed in a B&B or sofa surfing, to find sustainable or more stable accommodation.

Support from Bridgend Tenancy Crisis Service

Our team can help you with:

• Facing eviction from a landlord, parents or whatever your situation
• Liaising with the local authority regarding housing or homelessness
• Navigating council and social housing or renting from a private landlord
• Referring into The Wallich supported housing if beneficial
• Budgeting and managing bills
• Tackling debt
• Mental health, GP or substance use referrals
• Skills, employment and volunteering

Access to the Bridgend Tenancy Crisis Service is through the Bridgend County Borough Council (BCBC) homelessness department.
