Vesta Bridgend is a residential service offering five self-contained flats specifically for people who have either detoxed or are undergoing treatment for alcohol or substance misuse.

Homeless Hostels, Residences and Accommodation

The service is for people who have made the decision to progress away from their previous lifestyles involving drugs or alcohol.

As well as receiving support from staff, those living at Vesta are given a structured support plan which includes group sessions around:

Most people stay for between three to nine months before moving on to their own accommodation and beginning their new life.

The Wallich believes that homeless and vulnerable people are individuals with varied and different support needs.

It is proven that their successful recovery can be benefited by living in a Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE).

We want to provide innovative and trauma-informed services, like Vesta in Bridgend, and match people as best we can can to support which suits them.
